Therefore's raise deck was created in the spring & summer of 2022 for our forecasted Series A round. It was created to test our VC community with our story and the positioning of the product.
We wanted to tell a story arc that focused on what job seekers faced and how ill-equipped they are compared to companies in the recruiting process. We centered around this idea of "Networking as a service".
For this process, I worked closely with Sundeep Kumar, Therefore's CEO, after he had initially outlined the deck. We walked through what needed to be visually noisy, clean, and powerful. And then based on that we revised the outline to include a story, differentiation strategy, product roadmap, and more. You will see that in some slides we play with showing noise and stress with multiple facts. Again the goal here was to show how favorable the job search is for companies.
In design elements, my favorite elements are the use of bright powerful 3d objects, rich mesh gradients, and the slides (28 & 29) showing our phases of product development modeled after Apple's renowned feature slides.

Outcome & reflection
We pitched our platform and product to various funds using this deck. Ultimately, we paused the formal raise but this process of pitching helped us refine our product and community.
